'The Dance of Destiny' by Raja Arasa Ratnam.  ISBN  978-1-4269-1327-3   Trafford Publishing, Canada.

This is an extensive memoir.  It covers the author's formative life in pre-World War 2 in British Malaya and under the Japanese Military Occupation of Malaya during WW2, followed by his travails in the racist post-war White Australia era, and (later) his highly interactive and contributory life (including holding leadership positions in civil society) in the developing, cosmopolitan, multi-ethnic, and egalitarian Australia, over a  period exceeding 60 years.  It thus reflects an appropriate amalgam of history, geography, sociology and spirituality.  Woven through the book is the author's attempt to answer the question 'What are the determinants of human lives?'  This book too was endorsed by notable persons.

'Pithy Perspectives: a smorgasbord of short, short stories' by Raja Arasa Ratnam.   ISBN    978-1-4349-8203-2.     eISBN 978-1-4349-4447-4   RoseDog Books (Dorrance Publishing), USA

This book was written for fun. The pieces of fiction are essentially bi-cultural, ranging from wacky and weird to humorous and philosophical.  The last story is about House the Mouse, 2 cats and a little girl who are all able to communicate with one another.  The characters in this book have all been imagined.

'Musings at Death's Door: an ancient bicultural Asian-Australian ponders about Australian society' by Raja Arasa Ratnam
ISBN 978-0-9872356-0-2      Inspiring Publishers, P.O. Box 159, Calwell, ACT, 2905, Australia

The 12 articles in the book represent the ponderings of an octogenarian bi-cultural Asian-Australian near the end of his very complex life about issues of relevance to him and, hopefully, to others of like mind. Refer elsewhere in this website for relevant details, and a superb endorsement.
